Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: March 20, 2026

In plain English: Some links on VPNSBetter are affiliate links. If you click one and buy a VPN, we may earn a small commission. This does not make the VPN more expensive for you, and it never influences our reviews or rankings.

What is an affiliate link?

An affiliate link is a special URL that tracks referrals. When you click an affiliate link on our site and later make a purchase, the VPN provider pays us a referral fee (usually a percentage of the sale).

Does this affect our reviews?

Absolutely not. We have a strict policy: we buy every VPN ourselves, test it for at least 30 days, and publish our real findings – good or bad. If a VPN performs poorly, we say so, even if it has an affiliate program.

Which VPNs have affiliate programs?

Most major VPNs (ExpressVPN, NordVPN, Surfshark, PIA, CyberGhost) offer affiliate programs. We are an affiliate for many but not all. However, we also review VPNs that do not have affiliate programs (e.g., ProtonVPN, Mullvad) and treat them equally.
